BAND-MAIKO is BAND-MAID's alter ego project — the same five members reimagined as a traditional Kyoto maiko (apprentice geisha) group, blending the band's hard rock DNA with Japanese traditional aesthetics. This debut mini-album is their first and only release under the BAND-MAIKO name, making it one of the more unusual and collectible items in the BAND-MAID catalog.
The limited edition includes the CD and a DVD featuring the music video for "Gionmachi" plus its making-of footage — exclusive to this pressing.
